Additional architectural drawings of Charlottesville, Va., architect and University of Virginia faculty member include drawings of central Virginia residences, churches, other institutions and businesses; fraternities; University of Virginia buildings and renovations; and normal and industrial schools. There are also instructional drawings, some supporting correspondence, small drawings, photographs and specifications for some of Makielski's projects. Schools represented include the Blue Ridge Industrial School, Fort Valley College, Gaudet Normal and Industrial School, Gailor Industrial School, Hoffman St. Mary Normal and Industrial School, and Okolona Normal and Industrial School.
