Records include lists, 1797-1814, of marriages solemnized; constitution, 1819, of the Female Benevolent Society of New Providence Church, and a history of the society; constitution, 1823, for the New Providence Sabbath School; notes, ca. 1795, pertaining to the resignation of the Rev. John Brown; and a letter, ca. 1795, to the Rev. Samuel Brown, to serve the New Providence Church. Also include land records, 1759 and 1771, pertaining to church property; list of pastors who served the church from 1860-1881; and notes and depositions, 1799-1800, pertaining to an instance of a church member swearing while at a barnraising.
