Letter [manuscript] : Manassas, Va., to D.S. Stout, 1862 January 6.

Hill writes concerning Confederate positions at the second battle of Bull Run. Accompanying the letter is a sketch, 1963 August 13, reproduced from the original in Hill's letter showing his troop's position in relation to the railroad at Manassas. The reproduced sketch was drawn by Lester Newton Fitzhugh.
