This collection contains letterbooks, 1725-1730 and 1729-1742, of George Bogle, an importer of Virginia tobacco, to Matthew Bogle in Virginia; and fifty two letters, 1758-1761, to John Bogle, Falmouth, Virginia, from his parents George and Anne Sinclair Bogle, his brother, sister, and friends concerning tobacco.
