The collection contains a few letters, 1963-1965, of Albert Erskine concerning rights to Faulkner's works; correspondence, 1950-1952, chiefly between Irving Howe and Robert N. Linscott about Howe's "William Faulkner, a critical study," and a typescript of "DeGaulle Story," a screenplay by Faulkner. There are also photographs of the outline of "A fable," on the walls at Rowan Oak; photographs of the AMs and TMs of "Idyll in the desert"; TMs and galley proof of "Requiem for a nun" adapted for the stage by Ruth Ford; and a photographic copy of the first edition of "The marble faun" inscribed by Faulkner.
