Letter of Horatio Gray [manuscript], 1883 November 19.

Gray, Boston, writes to "My Dear Dr. Herrick," concerning Herrick's use, in one of his sermons, of "The story of Ida" by Gray's cousin, Frances Alexander. Gray quotes excerpts from a letter of Alexander expressing her pleasure that her book "might be of use to someone."
