Papers of William Augustine Washington [manuscript], 1787-1792.

In a letter, 1787 November 12, Christopher Hughes writes Washington regarding a debt Hughes owes him for land sold by the Principio Company, and in a letter 1791 April 12, Josiah Watson and Co. discusses the transfer of corn. There is also a receipt, 1792 October 8, regarding a Washington land purchase. With these is the report of a Fairfax County, Va., grand jury inquest on the suspicious death of an infant.
