Letter to Hiram Martz [manuscript], 1850 March 6.

Jennings urges Martz to declare himself a candidate for re-election to the House of Delegates for Rockingham County, Va., along with William B. Yancey although there was some dissatisfaction among constituents that he voted against the convention bill. Jennings also discusses a possible claim to an English estate and asks Martz if he could find any proof in records in Richmond.
