Letter to William Dean Howells [manuscript], 1874 August 14.

In a letter, 1874 August 14, Owen informs Howells, editor of the "Atlantic monthly," that he is working on an article, "How I came to study spiritual phenomena," and plans to send it in time for the November issue. Owen also mentions his last article, "Wild oats," and his publisher, George W. Carleton.
