Indenture [manuscript] : Washington County, Virginia, 1854 April 17.

This indenture, signed by David B. Clark and James L. Davis apprentices Kilpatrick, the son of Spencer Kilpatrick a "free man of color," to William F. Clark to learn the business of farming. Pencilled note at the bottom of the page indicates that the indenture was turned over to blacksmith Jonathan Fulton.
