Small group of documents relating to a voyage of the Bark Rio, Charles Montgomery, Master, out of New York City, from Boston, Mass. to Cape Verde Islands. Contains correspondence by Ch[arles] J Helms, Agent for the Commercial Agency USA at the Island of St. Thomas, a letter by Cha[rles] Tyng dated Havana March 14 1854 to Capt. Charles Montgomery, and copies of letters by Silas B. Deane to Samuel M. Crocker, Whitmore & Co., etc. Also contains portage bill, log book and accounts.
