Howard Brothers Manufacturing Company founded in Worcester, Mass., in 1866 by three brothers, Albert H., Charles, and John Howard. With the passing of the older brothers, Albert H. Howard carried on alone. The Warren brothers (Henry, Samuel, and Berthier), of Holden, Mass., became financially interested and furnished a high grade of leather from their tannery.
