Summary: Professional photographs depicting performers who appeared at the Tucson Saturday Morning Music Club between 1919 and 1945; these images highlight individuals, small groups and large group of performers. Performers include dancers, musicians, dramatic actors, and orchestras. Many of the images have autographed signatures and dates. Includes an image of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, ca. 1945. Photographs were taped on large boards for display purposes and exhibited heat damage and dirt from improper storage prior to arrival at the Historical Society.

Saturday Morning Musical Club was organized in 1907 by Madeline Dreyfus Heineman. It began with twelve women performing at each others' homes but soon grew to include performances by well-known artists. The Club incorporated in 1917, and in 1927, the Club built the Temple of Music and Art to showcase these performances.
