James Fenimore Cooper letters, 1827-1843.

The collection consists of two letters: to Dear Bradish, 27 Oct. 1827, about his novel Red Rover, and the German translation, with news of his current circumstances and travel plans; to Mr. G.M. Davidson, 27 July 1843, sending 300 copies of a pamphlet that he wishes to circulate among the public, with arrangements for the selling and return of unsold copies. Both include integral envelopes.
