Letter, enclosing statement of Isabel Hastings Shriver, written as a response to the attempts by George Dudley Seymour of New Haven, to discredit the romance of Nathan Hale and Alice Adams. Attached to the statement is a tribute to Alice Adams,written by Edward Hale Brush. Also enclosed is a printed leaflet, signed by Hastings and Shriver, "published in the interest of truth and justice", refuting a statement made by Seymour.
