Military muster rolls [copies], ca. 1861-1862, 1868-1871.

Summary: This collection consists of two sets of copies of oversize charts containing military muster rolls. One set consists of personnel listings for the Arizona Battalion of Confederate forces operating in the Arizona/New Mexico area for 1861-1862 under the command of Capt. Sherod Hunter. The other set of reports contain muster rolls for the 3rd U.S. Cavalry under the command of Capt. George McMullens between 1868 and 1871. Both sets of documents are copies from the National Archives in Washington D.C. Many of the officers belonging to the 3rd Cavalry are highlighted and the researcher may have been specifically interested in noting these individuals.
