This series contains a sampling of letters written to Governor Bob Taft from constituents. There were originally over 500 cubic feet of materials, of which only a sample of original documents were retained, as detailed reports of the correspondence are contained in the Agency Status Reports (State Archives Series 6689). Subjects of letters in this series may include, but are not limited to, the Coingate Scandal, President Bill Clinton's impeachment, the September 11th terrorist attacks, the death penalty, and concealed weapons. Please note that each folder does not have all the letters sent on a particular subject, only a sample. For a count of letters sent per subject, please see State Archives Series 6689.
