This collection documents five generations of the Osgood family in Salem (Mass.) The John Osgood Papers contain correspondence, financial, legal, and estate papers that reflect John's activities as a shipmaster and shipping merchant, and briefly describe his other business concerns. The Family Papers, contain a wide variety of materials documenting numerous Osgood family members and relatives.
