Preparatory printed and autograph macquette/dummy for Baskin's book "Blake and the youthful ancients", with the printed t.p. followed by the text of the t.p. in Baskin's hand; 3 mounted newsclippings of biographical article on Leonard Baskin by Bennet Schiff's, dated 1955, which served as the preface for the published book; and 18 wood engravings annotated in pencil by Baskin, with four of them incorporating original pencil sketches by the artist; printed colophon pasted in, followed by manuscript version of the colophon in Baskin's hand; printed slip pasted onto verso of last leaf reads: The Gehenna Press--Titans Pier--South Hadley, Mass.; with a pencil note in Baskin's hand: Dummy for Blake & The Youthful Ancients 1956.
