A Philippine diary for November 1954 through August 1956 in two volumes, by Marlin G. Cline and Agnes I. Cline, 1954-1956.

Published version of a diary recording the professional and personal experiences of Professor and Mrs. Marlin G. Cline and their family during Professor Cline's assignment to the College of Agriculture of the University of the Philippines. This period represented the first of three contracts between Cornell University and the U.S. Foreign Operations Administration (later AID) to provide technical assistance for rehabilitation of the College and its faculty after the Japanese occupation during World War II. These volumes were transcribed from diaries kept by Marlin Cline from October 30, 1954 through June 26, 1956. The diary of Agnes Cline is the source of the account of their last week in the Philippines, the trip home through Southeast Asia and Europe, and of her daily activities.
