Articles of agreement and treaty made and concluded at Stockbridge, in the State of Wisconsin, 1848 November 24.

Printed signature of James K. Polk and other signers, March 2 1849. Treaty contains 12 articles. It ends the Indian relief act of March 3, 1843 and the treaty with the Menominee tribe of February 8, 1831, and defines which lands will be relinquished to the United States and the payment the Indians will receive.
