French photograph album, [186-].

Photograph album consisting of albumen prints in carte-de-visite format, including many of individual women and men, soldiers and army officers, a few children, and two peasant women. A few outdoor scenes of villages and churches are also included. Many of the photographs are identified with captions added later, including the subjects' birth and death dates. Individuals named include several members each of the La Tour Maubourg, Perron, Basterot, Trevise, and Brigode families, and two members of the Marescalchi family. Also included is a photograph of Pope Pius IX. Places identified on the verso of the photographs include Morlaix (Brittany) and Le Mans.
