In 1966 the Cornell Computing Center and Machine Records were merged into the Office of Computer Services (OCS), and in 1970 the business systems group was split from OCS to form Management Systems and Analysis (MSA), which was merged back into OCS in 1978. In 1980 OCS became CCS, Cornell Computing Services, and in that decade was a partner with the Theory Center in creating and sustaining the Cornell National Supercomputer Facility.
