Hermon Kinsman of Rochester, VT, entered Norwich University in 1906 and graduated in 1910 with a civil engineering degree. He was active in Company A and played on the baseball and football teams. He was a member of Alpha Sigma Pi fraternity. Kinsman worked in the insurance adjustment and real estate business in Rutland, VT, for nearly forty years. He was married twice; first to Glenna G.
