The earliest of these letters from Naomi Hamlyn to Storm Jameson is from December 1939 and encloses typescripts of 2 poems by Hamlyn, entitled The Survivor, and The Cancer (included). Three items dating from December 1940 to January 1941 convey news of Morley Roberts during a severe illness, and the progress of his recovery. In the last two items, written in August 1941, Hamlyn mainly talks about her relationship to writing, with mention of her story Sympathy, as well as poems, including the poem Two Women.
