Morley Roberts's letters to Gluck include responses to her questions and comments as she was reading some of his works, including his scientific writing, and his book on W. H. Hudson; personal updates; and words of encouragement to her about her writing. At points he refers to her having responded to his artwork, and to her having expressed a desire to do a portrait of him.
