Songs from the French Revolution, [ca. 1788]-1798.

Consists of songs mainly on political topics, some with lyrics only, others with both lyrics and music. Some of the songs were sung at revolutionary festivals, while others are included in comedies or in "vaudevilles." Also included are songs for the French army and some on religious subjects. Authors represented include E.-J.-B. Delrieu, Nicolas Louis François de Neufchateau, and Camille Desmoulins.
