Gamaliel Bailey letter : to M. R. Robinson, 1837 Oct. 29.

Signed letter asking Robinson to collect donations pledged to the local (Cincinnati) anti-slavery society. Bailey notes that anti-slavery sentiment is growing in the community, and adds that the coming session of Congress may bring decisive changes. On verso of second leaf is a list of those who have pledged donations but have not yet paid.
