Harry T. King oral history, 1963-1964.

In this interview, Mr. King discusses his personal history and food processing in New York State, particularly the fruit juice industry. Topics include: his student experiences at Penn State; his work at the Delaware Experiment Station; storage and quality control of grape juice and grape products; changes in grape processing; difficulties associated with canning tomato juice; problems encountered during the 1920's and 1930's with processing grapes; establishing industry standards; the contributions of Jack Kaplan to the Welch Grape Juice Company; the nutritional value of fruit juices; and handling consumer complaints.
