Autograph letter : [Cincinnati], to [Lafcadio Hearn], [1875-1877].

Asking that he return a letter, noting "it is not myself alone I have trusted to you in it, it is the precious name of my family." Acknowledging that she should not have written it, and appealing to his wisdom and thoughtfulness. Hoping that the letter has made him laugh, and again ordering that he return it.
