George Gould (1905-1990) was a professional actor whose career in Cleveland, Ohio was varied and long-lasting. Gould started in the early 1930s with the Royal American Show, an African American theatre group based in Tampa, Florida. Gould remained with the Royal American Show until the late 1950s, at which time Cleveland, Ohio, became his base of operations.
