Typescripts (carbons, photostats, mimeographs, and originals): volume 1 is dated "Baltimore, November 29, 1949" and headed "Books and pamphlets dealing with the American language presented to the Enoch Pratt Free Library by H.L. Mencken"; volume 2 is headed "Books Presented to the Enoch Pratt Free Library, 1953, by H.L. Mencken" (inventory contains appraised values for each volume) and includes a copy of a letter dated "July 25, 1949" to the Internal Revenue Service; volume 3 contains several inventories, including a checklist prepared by the Enoch Free Public Library in 1957.
