Collection of correspondence and reports related to Frank E. Trask's work with water resource and flood control projects in Southern California from 1931 to 1936. Topics covered include the Los Angeles County Flood Control District's 1927-1931 comprehensive flood control plan, which included the creation of permanent flood channels, reservoirs, and debris basins throughout Los Angeles County; the construction of the Colorado River Aqueduct, which was funded by a $220,000,000 Metropolitan Water District of Southern California bond in 1931; and the funding for various flood control and water resource projects in Southern California from the Fulmer Act (of the Agricultural Adjustment Administration) and the Clarke-McNary Fund.
