Although the sources of photographs are not always indicated, the bulk was apparently generated in the Berea College Publicity Department and the College News Bureau. Edwin Collins Frost (1867-1956) received an A.B. in 1890 and an A.M. in 1897 from Brown University. He was an assistant in rhetoric at Brown from 1895 to 1896 and later an instructor of rhetoric from 1896 to 1898. Frost was the cataloguer of Marsden J.
