Nancy M. Joyce was a Boston College alumna, patron, and museum docent. Joyce and her husband Jack were active volunteers and patrons supporting the arts at Boston College, especially through the McMullen Museum of Art and the Boston College Friends of Art. The Joyces served as co-chairs of the latter organization's Steering Committee. Nancy also served as head docent for the McMullen Museum of Art. The Boston College Art Gallery was created in 1975 upon the merger between the Newton College of the Sacred Heart and Boston College.
