Stephen Peckham papers, 1874-1880.

The collection includes the autograph of John Johnson Enegahbowh, holograph manuscripts on the Red River Valley water supply, a meteor which fell 5-10-78, a trip on the Upper Missouri River and an Indian dance (1880), a reminiscence titled, "School sufferage for women in Minnesota and how it worked." Also included are copies of eight of Peckham's publications, and a report of the evidence given to the coroner's jury on the explosion of the Washburn "A" Mill in 1878, with supporting documents and reports.
