The collection comprises a single letter written by R.J. Bros about his recollections concerning the sport of ice hockey at the University of Minnesota, where he was a student from about 1915 through 1921. Information in this letter includes mention of other schools against which the University hockey team played, the rinks used for games and practice, appropriations used to maintain the team, Professor Otto S. Zelner (in charge of intramural sports) and students who participated in varsity, intramural and intra-fraternity hockey.
