The collection includes a condensed version of an address delivered by Dr. Olaf J. Hagen at the annual banquet of the Northern Minnesota Medical Assn. on Sept.8, 1939 in Detroit Lakes MN. It is a tribute to the Doctors Charles and Will Mayo. Also included is a letter from Dr. Hagen to Dean Harold S. Diehl recounting a conversation Hagen had with University of Minnesota President Vincent in about 1913, discussing the Mayo brothers.
