Contains reports, articles, correspondence, memoranda, presentations, engineering drawings, photographs, and seminar notes and outlines related to Hill's work in the computer industry, primarily with Engineering Research Associates (ERA). Most of the materials are related to magnetic memory devices for computers, especially magnetic drums. Also documented are ERA projects for Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing (3M), a thermal printer, and for John Plain and Company, a multiple input adding machine called the Speed Tally, or Distributon, completed after ERA became a division of Remington Rand.
