Oral history interview with Ralph E. and Madge T. Griswold, 1993 Sept. 29.

Ralph and Madge Griswold discuss how their backgrounds in electrical engineering and journalism, respectively, led them separately to Bell Laboratories. Madge recalls her use of TEXT90 and TEXT360 in the preparation of technical journal documents. Ralph discusses the informal dissemination of SNOBOL to the academic community.
