Adolph Ehrlich was the director of the Jordan Marsh Co. from 1925 to 1952. The box contains a program and the Pictorial section of the Boston post commemorating the fiftieth wedding anniversary of the Ehrlichs and a special issue of the Boston herald, dated Sept. 1, 1948, with articles and photographs honoring Ehrlich's eightieth birthday. A ms. letter of transmittal by Richard A. Erlich, dated Apr. 26, 1964, and addressed to Walter Whitehill is also included. In the letter Ehrlich offers biographical information about his father and explains how he was able to have the issue of the Herald produced.
