General description of the collection: The Robert P. Kingsbury papers contain photocopies of letters, articles, speeches, and portions of books. Papers also include photocopies of the phone log between the 94th Division commander (Malony) and XXth Corps commander (Walker). Kingsbury was a rifleman in WWII. He was part of Patton's 3rd Army, XX Corps, and fought at the Battle of the Bulge, Nening and the Siegfried Line. He has a copy of a speech given at the 94th Division's annual reunion given by Chaplain Charles H. Manning, who was part of the 301st Regiment. Kingsbury was commissioned a 2nd lieutenant 26 October 1951. He eventually reached the rank of lieutenant colonel.

Walton Harris Walker (b. Dec. 3, 1889, Belton, Tex.-d. Dec. 23, 1950, Korea), General in the U.S. Army, was commissioned in the infantry when graduated from West Point in 1912. He served in the occupation of Vera Cruz, Mexico and with the 13th Machine Gun Battalion, 5th Division, in the American Expeditionary Force.
