The girl who wouldn't get married : production material, 1983.

A rich farmer who tries to trick his neighbor's daughter into marrying him finds the unwilling girl can match him trick for trick. The collection includes a 16 page illustrator's dummy, corrected (on 2-sided photocopy), 32 ink-tempera illustrations (one with one separation), a page of correspondence.

Jack Kent wrote and illustrated about 40 children's books during his career and illustrated nearly 20 by other authors. He began his career as a free-lance commercial artist, created a comic strip "King Aroo" which was syndicated from 1950 to 1965.
