The collection includes a number of disparate materials on the early settlement of Grey County: list of land transfers in St. Vincent township, 1921-1942; record of registered letters at Clarksburg, 1892, 1893; church records and financial statements (Presbyterian, Anglican and Methodist), including baptismal, marriage and burial records for Walter's Falls and other areas; notebook of various cemetery listings; poll book for Thornbury, 1925; oversize newspapers and clippings from the 1880's into 1960's; municipal records and electors' lists, ledgers, diaries, school yearbooks, correspondence, pamphlets.
