Holographs and typescripts, galley proofs, notes, illustrations done in a variety of media, studies and sketches done in a variety of media, calligraphy, dummies, color samples, proofs, and promotional material. There is also production material for un-published titles, miscellaneous art work including printing plates and blocks, and other non-book material including scrapbooks, photo albums, and other personal material, clippings, and memorabilia compiled by Wanda Gag and others, and one audiovisual item entitled: Wanda Gag : A Minnesota Childhood. The collection also contains a sustantial amount of correspondence to and from Wanda Gag and friends, family members, publishers, children and adolescents, and others; correspondents include siblings Howard and Flavia Gag, A. O. Eberhart, Johan Egilsrud, Alice Dalgliesh, and Alma Olivia Schmidt Scott.
