Sherlock's last case : programs and ephemera, 1984-1997.

Programs, advertising material, and related ephemera from productions of Sherlock's last case by Charles Marowitz. The play premiered in 1984 at the Los Angeles Actors' Theatre, under the direction of Marowitz, and in 1987 a production starring Frank Langella as Sherlock Holmes was presented at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. and then moved to Broadway at the Nederlander Theatre. The collection also contains materials from a number of other professional and amateur productions in the U.S. and Canada.
