Baker Street : programs and ephemera, 1964-1987.

Programs, handbills, reviews, and advertising material for productions of the musical Baker Street, book by Jerome Coopersmith, music and lyrics by Marian Grudeff and Raymond Jessel. The original production previewed in Boston and Toronto before premiering on Broadway at the Broadway Theatre on Feb. 16, 1965. The production later moved to the Martin Beck Theatre, where it closed on Nov. 14, 1965. The cast featured Fritz Weaver as Holmes, Peter Sallis as Watson, and Inga Swenson as Irene Adler. The collection also includes programs from regional, amateur, and high school productions from 1971-1987.
