Records (1901-1918) of the Polish Library Society (Minneapolis, Minn.) consist of two bound volumes. Included are a book of financial records with lists of library members from various local Polish National Alliance of U.S. of N.A. lodges and a book labeled "Minute book of Polish Library of Minneapolis" containing minutes and correspondence of the Citizens Committee and Recruiting Centre #20 (Minneapolis). The Library minutes are of regular meetings of the Library Committee.

A fraternal and cultural organization, the Polish National Alliance of U.S. of N.A. was founded in 1880. The Alliance sponsors dance groups and bands, sports programs, a Debutante Ball, Christmas programs, a library, and an archives. It also owns and operates Alliance College in Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania, and offers scholarships and loans to college students. The Alliance has ca. 317,000 members with 1350 local branches.
