Amerigo De Martinis (1899-1969) was born in Philadelphia, son of immigrants from Chieti, Abruzzi, Italy. He was educated at the Temple University School of Commerce and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He worked as a bank examiner for the State of Pennsylvania and later formed his own accounting firm. De Martinis served the Order Sons of Italy in America as venerable of Guglielmo Oberdan Lodge No. 495 (1927-1943), Supreme Delegate and member of the Supreme Arbitration Commit...
