Oral history interviews with Robert Dunlop, 1989.

Dunlop discusses his relations with the Pew family, particularly the four founders of the Pew trusts (J. Howard Pew, J.N. Pew, Jr., Mabel Pew Myrin, and Mary Ethel Pew), others family members associated with those trusts and Sun Oil, and his work with both the trusts and Sun Oil. He focuses on the board of the Glenmede Trust Company, its operation, and its relations with the Glenmede Corporation, Sun Oil, Oryx, and the Account of Four. He further talks about the succession agreement and how the Glenmede board changed as the founders died. He also discusses the relations between the investment and grantmaking divisions of the Glenmede Trust Company.

Robert Dunlop was born on July 2, 1909 in Boston, Massachusetts to Scottish immigrant parents. His father was a marine engineer.
